Exploring Sun Style Tai Chi beyond Tai Chi for Arthritis
Contact Ralph to bring this workshop to your location
If you know Tai Chi for Arthritis Parts 1 and 2, you know quite a few of the most important Sun Style Tai Chi moves, but there are lots more Sun Style forms to learn and enjoy. In this workshop you can learn Shifu Ralph’s original set of 39 Sun Style Forms. This set builds on the Tai Chi for Arthritis forms you already know and acts as a bridge to learning or teaching the much longer Sun 73 Competition form.
In this two-day workshop, participants learn to perform the Sun 39 forms plus add depth to their knowledge about Sun Style, the newest of the major styles of Tai Chi, developed in 1912 by Sun Lu Tang. You will learn about the original movements of Sun Style and their origins in other tai chi traditions.
To participate you should know Tai Chi for Arthritis Parts 1 and 2.
